Does anyone know whether or not you need to add laterite if you use profile in your substrate? _________________ SS

I've found profile sold by schultz as CLay soil conditioner it is exactly the same as their Aquatic Soil. I would not use profile for more than 30-50% of the substrate its too light and hard to hold roots by its self. A mixture of the Clay soil conditioner and flourite has been working well for me in my tank and helped cut the cost of the flourite. I'm going to try it with plain small sized gravel in my next tank. |
