I'm getting two different readings for my KH/alk levels with two different kits.

The first kit is from Salifert.
The second kit is from Nutrifin.

The Salifert kit uses a syringe of KH reagent, that reads your KH once you have added enough drops to make the blue water turn pinkish/orange. The reading in ml's on syringe is used to find KH with an included chart.

The Nutrifin kit has one bottle of KH reagent that you drip into the vial of water, counting each drop until it changes from blue to yellow.

The readings are as follows (each test was done twice to verify):

-Salifert- 4.50-4.80dKH

-Nutrifin- 2.80-3.36dKH
Question: Is this a typical difference in tests? Which test should I believe?
Should I just average the two, and forget about it? Heh..
