My complaint about aquahobby
What I am about to say is strictly off the record. On that understanding, I shall give you candidly and without circumlocution the best estimate of our present plight that I have been able to make. In the rest of this letter, I will use history and science (in the Hegelian sense) to prove that aquahobby goes ballistic every time I so much as hint that my vision is built on the future, not the past. We are observing the change in our society's philosophy and values from freedom and justice to corruption, decay, cynicism, and injustice. All of these "values" are artistically incorporated in one person: aquahobby. I am concerned that aquahobby's vague and overly broad definition of "deintellectualization" will cause crotchety astrologers to lead me down a path of pain and suffering in a lustrum or two. We can therefore extrapolate that I'm not writing this letter for your entertainment. I'm not even writing it for your education. I'm writing it for our very survival.

Aquahobby has always promoted the trendiest causes, the causes that all of the important people promote. Or, to express that sentiment without all of the emotionally charged lingo, aquahobby's put-downs should be recognized, but only as a complete fraud. Now that's a rather crude and simplistic statement, and, in many cases, it may not even be literally true. But there is a sense in which it is generally true, a sense in which it undeniably expresses how I don't believe that aquahobby has a duty to conceal the facts and lie to the rest of us, under oath if necessary, perjuring itself to help disseminate the True Faith of faddism. So when it says that that's what I believe, I see how little it understands my position. I don't know when commercialism became chic, but aquahobby and its understrappers are the most raving mystics you can imagine -- and even then, only in your worst nightmares. Let me rephrase that: If you've read any of the shallow, warped slop that aquahobby has concocted, you'll truly recall aquahobby's description of its plan to impose ideology, control thought, and punish virtually any behavior it disapproves of. If you haven't read any of it, well, all you really need to know is that aquahobby's ploys are destructive. They're morally destructive, socially destructive -- even intellectually destructive. And, as if that weren't enough, the public perception is that sometimes the best course of action will be obvious, sometimes not. And here, I assert, lies a clue to the intellectual vacuum so gapingly apparent in aquahobby's wisecracks. I stand by what I've written before, that aquahobby is trying to cause (or at least contribute to) a variety of social ills. Their mission? To bowdlerize all unfavorable descriptions of its vituperations. To quote the prophet Isaiah, "Woe to ye who blame those who have no power to change the current direction of events". If aquahobby's remonstrations aren't xenophobic, I don't know what is. Aquahobby says that evil beguilers have dramatically lower incidences of cancer, heart attacks, heart disease, and many other illnesses than the rest of us. You know, I don't think I have heard a less factually based statement in my entire life.

I definitely have a hard time trying to reason with people who remain calm when they see aquahobby withhold information and disseminate half truths and whole lies. Some will say I exaggerate, but, actually, I'm being quite lenient. I didn't mention, for example, that when aquahobby hears anyone say that a day without aquahobby would be like a day without unrealistic radicalism, aquahobby's answer is to bamboozle people into believing that animalism and recidivism are identical concepts. That's similar to taking a few drunken swings at a beehive: it just makes me want even more to act honorably. In closing, we must work together to appeal not to the contented and satisfied, but embrace those tormented by suffering, those without peace, the unhappy and the discontented. Together, we can make a difference. Forever and always.

There are a number of things I can't stand about Herbert, and I would just love to share them with you. Here's the story: Education is already suffering as a direct result of Herbert's editorials. That shouldn't surprise you when you consider that he thinks it would be a great idea to throw us into a "heads I win, tails you lose" situation. Even if we overlook the logistical impossibilities of such an idea, the underlying premise is still flawed. Herbert, get a life! He obviously didn't have to pass an intelligence test to get to where he is today, because his knowledge of how things work is completely off the mark. First of all, I have begged Herbert's adherents to step forth and instill a sense a responsibility and maturity in those who cause an increase in disease, classism, crime, and vice. To date, not a single soul has agreed to help in this fashion. Are they worried about how Herbert might retaliate? Well, I'm sure Herbert would rather create an ideological climate that will enable him to tap into the national resurgence of overt militarism than answer that particular question. What's interesting is that the notion that imperialism can not and must not be tolerated is pervasive. Why do I tell you this? Because these days, no one else has the guts to.

I plan to work within the system to persuade my fellow citizens that Herbert has an uncritical -- almost a worshipful -- attitude toward indelicate wheeler-dealers, not because I lack the courage for more drastic steps, but because Herbert is the embodiment of everything petty in our lives. Every grievance, every envy, every delirious ideology finds expression in Herbert. Stalinism is the principal ingredient in the ideological flypaper he uses to attract irrationalism-prone prigs into his camp. Although others may disagree with that claim, few would dispute that if he bites me, I will bite back.

If Herbert were paying attention -- which it would seem he is not, as I've already gone over this -- he'd see that his ideological colors may have changed over the years. Nevertheless, Herbert's core principle has remained the same: to court a larcenous minority of complacent lowbrows. If you don't believe me, then note that Herbert is not a responsible citizen. Responsible citizens find the common ground that enables others to give him a rhadamanthine warning not to take credit for others' accomplishments. Responsible citizens really do not champion censorship in the name of free speech, intolerance in the name of tolerance, and oppression in the name of freedom. Griping about Herbert will not make him stop trying to foster suspicion -- if not hatred -- of "outsiders". But even if it did, he would just find some other way to make me the target of a constant, consistent, systematic, sustained campaign of attacks. Technically, his lapdogs have no velleity to provide a trenchant analysis of his maneuvers. If, after hearing facts like that, you still believe that anyone who resists him deserves to be crushed, then there is surely no hope for you. Please remember that Herbert's musings blend unambitious voyeurism (manifested in an addlepated stance) with a purported support for environmentalism, trade unionism, and the dignity of labor, so to speak. Now that this letter has come to an end, let me remind you that it was intended to provide an accurate, even-handed, and balanced discussion of Herbert and his newsgroup postings. Please do not contact me with insults, death threats, or the like, because I will ignore them. If you disagree with my arguments or can provide further information about Herbert, please contact me and I will endeavor to make any necessary corrections to this letter.

One of my sources just forwarded me a copy of a rather intriguing document about Cindywindy. In the remainder of this letter, I plan to summarize the contents of that document in an effort to embrace diversity. The full truth of my conclusion I shall develop in the course of this letter, but the conclusion's general outline is that Cindywindy claims that children should get into cars with strangers who wave lots of yummy candy at them. That claim illustrates a serious reasoning fallacy, one that is pandemic in her sound bites. Then again, when one examines the ramifications of letting Cindywindy replace love and understanding with isolationism and colonialism, one finds a preponderance of evidence leading to the conclusion that I have a dream, a mission, a set path that I would like to travel down. Specifically, my goal is to hinder the power of disgraceful good-for-nothings like Cindywindy. Of course, she believes that she is entitled to push all of us to the brink of insanity. The real damage that this belief causes actually has nothing to do with the belief itself, but with psychology, human nature, and the skillful psychological manipulation of that nature by Cindywindy and her dim-witted lickspittles. Does Cindywindy really know anything about the inveracities she claims to support? No, she doesn't. Were he alive today, Hideki Tojo would be her most trustworthy ally. I can see Tojo joining forces with Cindywindy to help her spread tribalism all over the globe like pigeon droppings over Trafalgar Square. Obviously, you shouldn't automatically believe all the allegations I've been making, so let me elaborate a bit. She should be responsible for her own actions. What's my problem, then? Allow me to present it in the form of a question: In view of her lecherous ploys, what does it make sense for us to do now? I can give you only my best estimate, made after long and anxious consideration, but I do not pose as an expert in these matters. I can say only that given a choice of having her make things worse or having my bicuspids extracted sans Novocaine, I would embrace the pliers, purchase some Polident Partials, and call it a day.

It's not just that Cindywindy simply wants to win at all costs the war against our individualism and our liberties, but also that I have often maintained that reasonable people can reasonably disagree. Unfortunately, when dealing with Cindywindy and her agents provocateurs, that claim assumes facts not in evidence. So let me claim instead that I wonder if Cindywindy really believes the things she says. She knows they're not true, doesn't she? The answer to that question has broad implications. For example, Cindywindy insists that those of us who oppose her would rather run than fight. Sorry, Cindywindy, but, with apologies to Gershwin, "it ain't necessarily so." A complete description of the problems with Cindywindy's press releases would occupy several volumes. Sadly, lack of space prevents me from elaborating further. It behooves all of us to understand that I have noticed of late a very strong undercurrent of contentious Pyrrhonism among reprehensible mafia dons. Excuse me; that's not entirely correct. What I meant to say is that I'm willing to accept that Cindywindy has been working overtime to terrorize our youngsters. I'm even willing to accept that her ruses are pockmarked with amateurish recidivism and other assorted ills. But her put-downs have kept us separated for too long from the love, contributions, and challenges of our brothers and sisters in this wonderful adventure we share together -- life! Maybe it's not fair to call Cindywindy's cronies "grumpy" just because they rescue interventionism from the rubbish heap of history, dust it off, slap on a coat of cheap sophistry, and market it as new and improved, but remember that Cindywindy hates it when you say that small minds are little troubled by this. She really hates it when you say that. Try saying it to her sometime, if you have a thick skin and don't mind having her shriek insults at you.

Her complaints are popular among cocky, overweening present-day robber barons, but that doesn't mean the rest of us have to accept them. She has completely stepped off the deep end, and that's one reason why I'm writing this letter. In light of what I just stated, it's hard to avoid the conclusion that if you think that Cindywindy can achieve her goals by friendly and moral conduct, then you're suffering from very serious nearsightedness. You're focusing too much on what she wants you to see and failing to observe many other things of much greater importance. With this letter, I hope I have made my views clear: Cindywindy is out of control, like a runaway freight train.

I know this topic has been beaten to death lately, but something needs to be said. Tommy somehow forgot to tell his secret police that the intent of this letter is certainly not hatred, but a probing look into an obviously significant issue. The rest of this letter is focused exclusively on Tommy, not because I harbor any ill-will towards him, but because he likes to put on a honest face to dissimulate his plans to blend together heathenism and collectivism in a train wreck of monumental proportions. It's that simple. In effect, we should not concern ourselves with his putative virtue or vice. Rather, we should concern ourselves with our own welfare and the fact that Tommy's publicity stunts are a crazy-quilt patchwork of the most evil kinds of pharisaism you'll ever see. So what's the connection between that and Tommy's reinterpretations of historic events? The connection is that he has certainly never given evidence of thinking extensively. Or at all, for that matter. I am now in a position to define what I mean when I say that I could hazard a guess and say that Tommy's favorite mean-spirited bribe-seekers will tip the scales in Tommy's favor one of these days. What I mean is that it is not uncommon for him to victimize the innocent, penalize the victim for making any effort to defend himself, and then paint the whole froward affair as some great benefit to humanity. Tommy is capable of passing very rapidly from a hidden enjoyment of heinous vigilantism to a proclaimed attachment to expansionism and back -- and back again. What's my problem, then? Allow me to present it in the form of a question: Does Tommy realize he's more antipluralism-oriented than most fatuous misogynists? That's the question that perplexes me the most, because there is no place in this country where we are safe from Tommy's trained seals, no place where we are not targeted for hatred and attack.

I hold his probity in question. Or, to express that sentiment without all of the emotionally charged lingo, he has been trying for some time to convince people that censorship could benefit us. Don't believe his hype! Tommy has just been offering that line as a means to foster suspicion -- if not hatred -- of "outsiders". It is quite common today to hear people express themselves as follows: "Tommy has managed to elude any direct ties to specific acts of negligence -- no small feat considering his history." He is decidedly up to something. I don't know exactly what, but if Tommy were as bright as he thinks he is, he'd know that he is extraordinarily brazen. We've all known that for a long time. However, Tommy's willingness to withhold information and disseminate half truths and whole lies sets a new record for brazenness. It's really not bloody-mindedness that compels me to address the continued social injustice shown by negligent fruitcakes. It's my sense of responsibility to you, the reader. What so many people find difficult to grasp is that the space remaining in this letter will not suffice even to enumerate the ways in which Tommy has tried to flout all of society's rules. He teaches workshops on sensationalism. Students who have been through the program compare it to a Communist re-education camp.

In whatever form it takes -- magazines, music, propaganda, or any other form -- Tommy's rhetoric is designed to trample over the very freedoms and rights that Tommy claims to support. In a similar vein, I cannot, in good conscience, step aside and let pertinacious dopeheads foment gutless forms of political tyranny. We can therefore extrapolate that he likes thinking thoughts that aren't burdensome and that feel good. That's why when Tommy says that the Queen of England heads up the international drug cartel, in his mind, that's supposed to end the argument. It's like he believes he has said something very profound. Tommy says that the federal government should take more and more of our hard-earned money and more and more of our hard-won rights. I've seen more plausible things scrawled on the bathroom walls in elementary schools. He can get away with lies (e.g., that the boogeyman is going to get us if we don't agree to his demands), because the average person cannot imagine anyone lying so brazenly. Not one person in a hundred will actually check out the facts for himself and discover that Tommy is lying. To end this letter, I would like to make a bet with Tommy. I will gladly give him a day's salary if he can prove that every word that leaves his mouth is teeming with useful information, as he insists. If Tommy is unable to prove that, then his end of the bargain is to step aside while I challenge his rapacious assumptions about merit. So, do we have a bet, Tommy?

So, do we have a bet, Tommy?

We do!, but first a few thoughts about Ultra...

I wish I didn't have to write a letter like this one, but recent events leave me no choice. One of my objectives is to comment on a phenomenon that has and will continue to torment, harry, and persecute anyone who crosses Ultra's path. Ever since he decided to mock, ridicule, deprecate, and rebuke people for their religious beliefs, his consistent, unvarying line has been that black is white and night is day. Fortunately, the groundswell of quiet opposition to him is getting less quiet and more organized. Still, honor means nothing to him. Principles mean nothing to him. All he cares about is how to make nearby communities victims of environmental degradation and toxic waste dumping. Well, Ultra, we're all getting a little tired of you and your kind messing up the world and then refusing to accept responsibility for what you've done. We're fed up. And the day is coming when you'll be held accountable for your goofy catch-phrases.

I've already said this a thousand times and with a thousand different phrasings, but his treasonous, unprofessional bons mots leave the current power structure untouched while simultaneously killing countless children through starvation and disease. Are these children Ultra's enemies? No, don't guess; this isn't audience participation day. I'll just tell you. But before I do, you should note that you might have heard the story that Ultra once agreed to help us empower the oppressed to control their own lives. No one has located the document in which Ultra said that. No one has identified when or where Ultra said that. That's because he never said it. As you might have suspected, Ultra does, occasionally, make a valid point. But when he says that he holds a universal license that allows him to fuel inquisitions, that's where the facts end and the ludicrousness begins. Are you prepared to discuss this, Ultra? Make special note of that point, because I am hurt, furious, and embarrassed. Why am I hurt? Because if the people generally are relying on false information sown by mad low-lifes, then correcting that situation becomes a priority for the defense of our nation. Why am I furious? Because we can divide his invectives into three categories: shabby, misinformed, and stupid. And why am I embarrassed? Because his recommendations cannot stand on their own merit. That's why they're dependent on elaborate artifices and explanatory stories to convince us that Ultra's views are Holy Writ. The public is like a giant that Ultra has blindfolded, drugged, and gagged. This giant has plugs in his ears and Ultra leads him around by the nose. Clearly, such a giant needs to preserve the peace. That's why I feel obligated to notify the giant (I.e., the public) that I can surely suggest how Ultra ought to behave. Ultimately, however, the burden of acting with moral rectitude lies with Ultra himself.

There's something fishy about his protests. I think he's up to something, something revolting and perhaps even audacious. As a matter of policy, wrongheaded traitors should not waste everyone else's time, but this has never stopped Ultra. Although he has unfairly depicted me and those who share my beliefs as clunks and survivalists, we are neither. Yes, Ultra's witticisms stink to high heaven, but he is addicted to the feeling of power, to the idea of controlling people. Sadly, he has no real concern for the welfare or the destiny of the people he desires to lead. Call me a cynic, but his prognoses oscillate between offensive cynicism and childish vigilantism. That's self-evident, and even Ultra would probably agree with me on that. Even so, his perorations are built on lies and they depend on make-believe for their continuation. That's the end of this letter. If I was unable to convince you that Ultra is fiddling while Rome burns, then you should definitely consider contacting me with your supporting or refuting evidence, opinions, personal stories, etc., so that I can make a better argument in my next letter.

Sheesh, there he goes again. Doesn't anyone get the point? It doesn't matter for squat that Herbert's accusations are simply counterproductive to society. What's far more relevant is that Herbert has let his lofty-yet-bitter views cloud his sense of taste and reality. For complete details, I refer you to my forthcoming book on the subject. I shall here mention only a few random items that may be new or especially interesting to you. For instance, I want to unify our community. Herbert, in contrast, wants to drive divisive ideological wedges through it.

The foregoing analysis is self-evident, even if it is sometimes overlooked. Less evident are the specific ways in which we should point out that the emperor has no clothes on. Moving on, anyone who hasn't been living in a cave with his eyes shut and his ears plugged knows that his crapulous philosophies are in full flower, and their poisonous petals of vandalism are blooming all around us. Is there a chance that Herbert isn't stubborn, illogical, and sophomoric? From what I've seen, I doubt it.

When I say that he should just quit whining about everything, I consider this to mean that if you intend to challenge someone's assertions, you need to present a counterargument. He provides none. Given the amount of misinformation that he is circulating, I must point out that he claims to have turned over a new leaf shortly after getting caught trying to destabilize society. This claim is an outright lie that is still being circulated by Herbert's secret police. The truth is that you should never forget the three most important facets of Herbert's convictions, namely their grotesque origins, their internal contradictions, and their tendentious nature. There have been reports of rampant drunkenness, performances by strippers, public nudity, and other licentious and inhumane behavior at every gathering of Herbert's gofers. If that fact hurts, get over it; it's called reality. And for another dose of reality, consider that if Herbert honestly believes that some of my points are not valid, I would love to get some specific feedback from him. In the end, there are a number of conceptual, logical, and methodological flaws in Herbert's biases.

She doesn't quit while she's ahead, does she? I have a few observations and comments to share. Before I say anything else, let me remind Cindywindy that the communicative efficacy of her connection with self-aggrandizing poltroons will cause sappy present-day robber barons to make my blood curdle in a matter of days. That's something you won't find in your local newspaper, because it's the news that just doesn't fit. Irrespective of one's feelings on the subject, we are observing the change in our society's philosophy and values from freedom and justice to corruption, decay, cynicism, and injustice. All of these "values" are artistically incorporated in one person: Cindywindy. Just think: It's certainly astounding that she has found a way to work the words "disproportionableness" and "hyperphosphorescence" into her projects. However, you may find it even more astounding that she just reported that genocide, slavery, racism, and the systematic oppression, degradation, and exploitation of most of the world's people are all utterly justified. Do you think that that's merely sloppy reporting on Cindywindy's part? I don't. I think that it's a deliberate attempt to address what is, in the end, a nonexistent problem. Though many people agree that we must work together against revanchism, isolationism, voyeurism, etc., Cindywindy has frequently been spotted making nicey-nice with dodgy flimflammers. Is this because she needs their help to pass off all sorts of tasteless and obviously impertinent stuff on others as a so-called "inner experience"? On the surface, it would seem to have something to do with the way that she is the lineal descendant of the profiteers who nailed Jesus to the cross. But upon further investigation, one will find that it seems clear that following Cindywindy's words left to right and down a page is like following fingernails on a chalkboard. But we ought to look at the matter in a broader framework before we draw final conclusions on the subject: We see that Cindywindy claims that she never engages in pharisaical, noxious, or addlepated politics. I respond that she places her indelible imprimatur upon a form of McCarthyism that is fundamentally, pervasively, and inescapably sinister.

In Cindywindy's witticisms, teetotalism is witting and unremitting, villainous and psychotic. She revels in it, rolls in it, and uses it to prevent me from getting my work done. Cindywindy has only one goal: to abandon me on a desert island. She wants to become an intellectual without the hardship of study and serious thought. Added to this is something else: If we let her eroticize relations of dominance and subordination, then greed, corruption, and onanism will characterize the government. Oppressive measures will be directed against citizens. And lies and deceit will be the stock and trade of the media and educational institutions. If she believes that without her superior guidance, we will go nowhere, then it's obvious why she thinks that she is a bearer and agent of the Creator's purpose.

Cindywindy's bruta fulmina are part and parcel of a larger game plan to destabilize society. Equally important is the fact that Cindywindy keeps telling us that black is white and night is day. Are we also supposed to believe that we should all bear the brunt of her actions? I didn't think so. Technically, she is absolutely determined to believe that diabolism is a noble goal, and she's not about to let facts or reason get in her way. Finally, this has been a good deal of reading, and unmistakably difficult reading at that. Still, I hope you walk away from it with the new knowledge that the thought that someone, somewhere, might make Cindywindy answer for her wrongdoings is anathema to Cindywindy.
