Dear Members,

My wife and I have finally finished converting the 500+ pages in the Freshwater Fish Gallery, and now I'm ready and eager to expand the section some more. Contributions of ALL kinds and in ALL forms are very welcome...by e-mail, through the site's contacts page, by posting in the Submission forum, or simply by sending me a PM with the topic in the Photo Album where you've already posted your photo(s), OK?

I'm waiting! Wink

I assume this means you will be cleaning out the ones that have been laying around in the submission forum?

Thanks!

Well, since the response here was rather...um...underwhelming ( Wink ) I thought I'd show you all the response in the Brazilian version of the board, so you can see the new species that'll be appearing soon in the Gallery...

Marcos, you realize you have free rein on any images in my photo album, right? The only reason I've refrained from sending you anything by e-mail is because my apisto pictures never made it onto the site from a few years back, and I figured from that that e-mail was perhaps the least efficient means of getting you pictures. If there are any images that don't allow right-clicking, just let me know.

Thanks Tula, yes I do know I can download anything from your album and I'm counting on those already. BTW, e-mail *is* a good way to submit material (possibily the best actually) since I do keep every submission nicely stored in appropriate folders. I just checked and your apisto submission from Dec 14, 2002 is right here. The thing is that the Gallery hadn't been updated at all since mid-2002, due to the many hosting problems and the site revamp expectations. But now that both of these issues are no longer in the way I'm back on full throttle...right now the priority is to process about 1,800 submitted comments for the Gallery, which I'm doing at a rate of about 200/week, and new species are getting added as time permits, but as soon as I clean up these comment submissions the new species addition becomes the priority, and that's why I'm looking for a good set of submitted material to keep me busy Wink

Marcos, I'm absolutely STUNNED! I just finished browsing the Gallery, and cannot believe how GREAT everything looks!

I love the new format for Comment Submissions, and how the comments have been revamped. Everything looks SO WONDERFUL! Nice job! You an Raquel so need a vacation!
