I just temporarly transferd my 3 goldfish to a bowl while I go get a new tank this week they all died Why?

they were in a 10 gallon and I had to take it down so I put them in a bowl for like a day and there dead why did this happen

there not dead they just flot to the top on there backs and then I tryed to get them out and thyey attemeded to try to swim and ended back up were they started

You have three huge waste producers in a bowl, swimming in their own excrement and you wonder why they are doing poorly?

well all is good now I gave them to someone with a big goldfish tank ( I think like 30g) but they actualy turned out fine after one hour anyways thanks huntress you always have great input Dan

Sorry to say, but 30g isn't big for goldfish. That is still overstocked IMO. Probably and golfish species would, by fullsize, be way too big for a 30g. You won't have that problem though because their growth will probably be stunted, which isn't good.

I think its bigger than I 30 idk but I don't have them anymore I though that that was the right choice (giving them to a bigger tank) when all I had was a 10g well I won them at a carnival before I knew anything bout fish, and ill check in on them in a while and c what size tank he has
