Does anyone out there have a solution for aptasia? I have been battling it for about a year now, and it is really pissing me off! Iv'e tried everything I think-peppermint shrimp, injections w/lemon juice/vinegar, actually washing my live rock- could use advice. Thanks R.C. Evil or Very Mad

yep peppermint shrimp will eat aptasia(the small brown anemones) (note that I can't spell either) if aclimitized properly they are very hardy and and fun to have in your aquarium. if you keep in groups they will be less shy and hang out in a group. I have had two of these little guys and thier fun and they would love to snack on your aptasia Laughing

I had a few of the pest and I made a kalkwasser paste and a syrynge took the paste and shot it right in the aptasia when they were fully open. they are aggressive enough they will take it as food but it will melt them from the inside out

but the other ways in the article have worked for others but I found the kalk to be the best
