Guidelines for Posting in the Photo Album
Stick to the topics related to this forum: show off the best photos of your own aquarium and fish here! Do not post images from other boards and sites without the permission of their respective owners.
Warning! Any topic in this forum MUST have at least one image appearing correctly in the first message. If it contains only links to images it will be moved to the 'Ads and Links' forum.
The following limits apply to each post:
Maximum number of images: 10
Maximum width of each image: 480 pixels
Maximum height of each image:: 640 pixels
For images to appear here they must be hosted on an online server already: the board does not show images stored in your computer, even is you leave it on 24 hours a day.
Most of the free hosting services (Geocities, Xoom, Tripod, Angelfire, etc) do not permit that images hosted there appear on other sites, unless you pay for the service.
We suggest that you host your images in the webspace provided to you by your internet access provider (AOL, MSN, etc), or in hosts that do allow loading images from other sites: one example is Sony's http://www.imagestation.com.
Asking for general comments about your tanks and fish here is OK, but if you're after specific help with something post the image and the question in the appropriate forum for that topic.
Two or three replies of the type 'Nice tank...congratulations!' are more than enough for the owner of the photo to be happy. After that post only if you really have something relevant to discuss in the topic.
If your topic disappeared from this forum, it must have been moved to another one or deleted for not being in accordance with these guidelines.
Once again thanks for reading, we count on your collaboration,
