Guidelines for Posting in Chemistry and Equipment

Exclamation Stick to the topics related to this forum: setting up general freshwater tanks, cycling, maintenance, pH, hardness, filtration, heating...

Exclamation Before posting your question, browse the forum and see if there aren't any replies with what you need in already existing topics here on this board (you can also use the search tool above), or in the "Tips" and other sections of the site (see links at the very top of this page).

Exclamation Do not post the same topic in different forums!

Exclamation Topics such as lighting, substrates, fertilizers, CO2 and the like, whenver related to the keeping of aquatic plants, should be posted in the 'Plants and Planted Tanks' forum.

Exclamation Descriptions and photos os home-made equipment should be posted in the 'Do-It-Yourself' forum.

Exclamation Questions about marine tanks should be posted in the 'Equipment and Chemistry' section in the 'Saltwater' category.

Exclamation When posting a question, try to be as clear, descriptive and specific as possible, informing all that's necessary to facilitate the replies of those who can help.

Exclamation If your topic disappeared from this forum, it must have been moved to another one or deleted for not being in accordance with these guidelines.

Once again thanks for reading, we count on your collaboration,

Are you a Fish-HAVER or a Fish-KEEPER?
Success with a fish/tank is measured in YEARS, not months or weeks...
