do you need a undergravel filter or is a hang on filter fine along with a wet/dry filter? thanks in advance!

under gravles are preaty dated, especialy for salt water. and in tanks w/ live rock and a deep sand bed, realy, the same can be said for wet/dry and power filters. in fact, those can often lead to problems through nitrAte acumulation. realy, the only fitlration you need for most marine tanks is live rock, a deep sand bed, and possibly a skimmer.

however, sumps are always helpful for adding extrawater.
