I am a new person with a salt water tank how do I keep small anemone like creatures and tons of algae from forming on my live rock, tank walls, and decrotive coral?

you can keep algae off the glass by using an algae magnet

don't over feed, regular water change to get rid of nitrite level, lighting can also be a factor.Get some live rocks or sand to help fitrate the water and use nitrite before agale can.

I think some chem is bad for coral and amonem, I'd get some snails, they work really really good.
