Irons,
My point is, if you try to keep your K at ~20ppm using KNO3, how much NO3 will you have dosed? ~100ppm =8^O Keep in mind you want 5~10ppm N, ~20ppm K and .5~1ppm P.
In my case my source water is already high in NitrAtes, 20~40ppm I don't dare add more N therefore I just dose with K2SO4, PO4 plus my traces.
