Arg! All I want is hairgrass like yours! How do you do it? (I.e., other than a bunch of CO2, which you obviously have, what are your specs, like other ferts and lighting, your substrate...)
Great tank-- great progress. Beautiful betta, by the way. |

How...wha...duh...I...*sigh*. I can't believe how nice your plants grew. When you first posted pics of this tank, I was curious to see whether your plants would grow as nice as they looked to begin with, I can see they didn't...they look even better! Very beautiful setup, and really shows off the colours of your fish. A great job, please keep it well looked after, a setup that looks so pleasing deserves everything you have to offer . Very well done. _________________ "Donald duck never wore pants, but when he gets out of a bath, he covers his waist with a towel...." |

Amazing!! and no algae to be seen!! Your plants are looking amazing
I love the last pic where you see only the blue on your neons it contrasts well with the dark spots in your tank. |

Thanks for the kind words guys!
As for the algae issue - I've had my battles believe me and there IS algae in there it just isn't running rampant right now!
FYI, the tank is running on DIY co2 (changed weekly with 50% water) and 2.7 watts per gallon lighting.
I'm going to enter it in the aquatic plants layout contest over at www.aquabotanic.com - wish me luck! |

| Really nice tank. Bucause of the combo of fish , plants, and wood. This is one of the best tanks that I have seen in the photo album. |

WOW!!! I LOVE it!
Ditto, very Amano style aquascape. I love the way the limbs of the driftwood lead your eye from the backleft corner to the lawn and then to the frontright corner. I love the mix of textures and colors in the stem plants in the back.
Will you help me redesign my tank? |
