This is not a good shot and hopefully someone can come up with something better (maybe me if I have the patience to try again.) You're welcome to use it in the mean time.

I was not finished.

That is a very nice picture. I have some pictures (which look different from Cyradia's pic) on the computer and trying to get them on here. I was not sure if I should go to a site (which may always change or disappear) or email them to aquahobby.

I am also not finished the text, I am looking for concrete numbers for the conditions of their original habitat other then "hard green water" which is now a dumping ground Crying or Very sad .

Tank size, ?? can be small if not mixed males and females, because it will quickly become overcrowded.

Temp is warm, but they are adaptable to cooler temps of mid 70F, they live longer in the mid 70s then the mid 80s How do I say all of that? Help. So I want to make sure all the info is bang on, incase someone keeps them in one of the extremes and either crowded or not idea and then they get over stressed and you know the rest.

I don't think you need to talk about the 'live longer at slightly cooler temps' part because that is true for every fish.

I think Endlers can be stocked at about 1 adult Endler per 1 gallon. However, they reproduce very quickly and this can cause dangerous overcrowding conditions for the aquarium. I'd also say that they do well in a planted tank.

The larger females can and will eat their young for the first few hours after they're born (they quickly "unfold" and become to big,) but they don't hunt them down aggressively and java moss helps insure nearly 100% survival of fry.

Not for fish like angels, discus, uarus, Tanganyikans...

I think it's worth mentioning in this article.

Cyr, your pic isn't loading anymore. Anyway, I found a nice submission of pics for this species from 2002 in my hard drive so I set up the new page today with one of those. Since none of the comments above are clearly marked as ready for the Gallery I didn't add them, but your comments are still very welcome and can be submitted by the form on the new page now. Thanks all!
