I bought a 10g live plant package about a month ago.when I got it everything seemed fine,but now on my corkscrew vals there is a rust like substance that is killing my plants.it is only growing on a few on the leaves.it rubs off very easly,but it comes right back.please help me!

| it appears to be some sort of algae,do you currently have an algae eater of some sort? |

Be aware that the CAE gets up to a foot long, and long before then, ceases its algae-eating in favor of the protein in fish slimecoats. CAEs usually peak their aggression long before their full size as well.
I suggest taking the CAE back, and looking into otos or amano shrimp. _________________ But if you tame me, then we shall need each other....You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed.
