I don't know why, but 2 of them, 1 male and the other female, seem to like swimming in place behind my rock formation... :\ The other one, also a female, is friendly and plays with the giant danios I have in there from cycling... Any ideas? _________________ www.core.gudio.com/forums |

they may be pregnent and watching there eggs or in the process of mating,
If you don't want them to mate as much turn the heat in your tank down to72-75 _________________ breeds convict ciclids

I think a convict laid eggs or something... I can't find her for like 5 minutes and then she comes from a cave out of nowhere... Interesting. _________________ www.core.gudio.com/forums |

| The ones that haven't paired will likely be killed by the ones that are paired up, sitting in the corner near the top for instance is a very bad sign of a fish that has been bullied way too much. Your only real chance at stability is getting rid of the non breeding fish, or keeping only females. Even the pair stand a good chance of killing each other though, so you should keep an eye on everyone as closely as you can. |

Well she's managed to run away from the big momma of the tank...She's no longer swimming in a corner, but exploring. Now she's not being bugged as much but still it's pretty bad injuries. I seem to beleive, however, that those are either from the LFS or from the long journey home... :\
That's a pic of her injury. _________________ www.core.gudio.com/forums |
