I have ben doing this for a while have 2 ten gallon tank on higher than other I take two air line tubes and start suction this pumps water in to the lower ten gallon tank. I have one ten gallon with a lot of filtration and one with an air line filter. the water goes into he lower and then a water pump the dirty water to the higher tank.
