My betta just passed away from Columnaris. I'm debating on whether or now I'd like another betta to put in my one gallon. How do I go about sterilizing the tank and decorations? _________________ Keep your friends close, but keep your anemones closer. |

Nevermind... after a bit of researching, I found it. I filled the tank with hot water, and dumped in whatever had came in contact with my infected fish. This site said to add 1 part bleach to 20 parts water, but I just added a half a capful and am letting it soak for an hour. Is this okay? _________________ Keep your friends close, but keep your anemones closer. |

That should work fine. Rinse everything thoroughly, and dry before setting it all up again. _________________ Happy fishkeeping!
