Are you including spaces? They count as characters. _________________ "... instead of considering what to say when they write, people now just let thoughts drool out onto the screen," - about e-mail

I have a question. I see that some folks have a banner style image below all of there posts, in place of a signature. How is this done? I am assuming a setup in the profile section, I tried to add the link to the image in my signature area of the profile but all I get is the link not the image. Also is there a limit to the size of image?
Thank Mark |

Yes, there is a limit for the size of image | Quote: | Some people prefer to use an off-site image in their signatures. In this case, the image must not be more than 60 pixels in height and 468 pixels in length, and you can then add only one more line of text in your sig. Obviously, publicity/advertising slogans aren't allowed on the image either, the text should show only the site/business name, URL, e-mail, location, phone number, etc. |
Any other question on the issue can be answered here: http://www.aquahobby.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=3140

Thanks,
The image is within the parameters, It is in the Sony image site in jpeg format. For some reason When I tried to set this up, I was getting the actual link below the post and not the image? I'll try again

My little banner is in Sony's ImageStation too. Did you put the hole code in the signature?

Mark, please don't keep posting new messages every time you try something different. Your sig is automatically updated in all your existing posts when you change it. The only error you're making right now is that there's a line break between the first [ img ] tag and the beginning of the URL... _________________ Are you a Fish-HAVER or a Fish-KEEPER?
