|
|
Group: Large Plants
Name: Egeria densa
Origin: Brazil, Urugauay, Chile, Northern Argentina
Care: Easy
Substrate: Regular gravel works just fine
Lighting: Medium-low
Height: Up-to 72"
This is a beautiful plant that is good as a backdrop plant. It can grow up to 72 inches in the wild. It grows extremely fast and needs to be pruned often in order to prevent it from growing out of control. It spreads by lateral roots, and baby plants can be seen growing in between leaves of the plant.
(I have this plant in my tank and will hopefully be able to get a picture of it by Monday evening. Could you guys tell me if there is more to add or if this is fine. I can't find this plant in the gallery and since this is my first time submitting something I wanted to know wheteher this is alont the right lines. Thanks. )[/I] |
