If you read in the gallery most people only keep two and with great success. You don't need to have eight because that will probably end up in them killing each other.

However They are babies, and there are smaller ones in the mix. I have sold 3 to one guy and he said that the biggest one ate the little one and there was two left. Right now I have 30 in a ten gallon and there are too many for the biggest one to pick off of. Usaly I start out with 200 and olny about 1/4 live. The ones I have now are ready to sell and you can get as many as you want. 1-30+ Of corse the more you buy the more you save. I do have pictures if any one wants them.

I agree, it's best to buy 6+ so you have a good chance of getting a mated pair.
