This book expands on Volume 1, presenting 850 more freshwater fishes, plus 150 more plant species not listed in the first. Each species has a full color photo, plus the usual excellent care info, and emphasis is given on new species of the families currently leading in popularity: Catfishes, Killifishes and Cichlids. Baensch's Freshwater Atlas series is composed of 3 volumes, of which this is the second. Each of them can be bought in Hardcover or Paperback, but if you can afford it, I highly recommend the Hardovers!
