| I cast another vote for Gary Geddes' sparsley planted. I love the look of it, but I even more so love the fact that they did a really nice job without a bunch of fancy plants and/or equipment. The result is a beautiful setup that even someone like myself who doesn't have much patience could achieve. Kind of like a "working man's Amano"... |

| I liked Gareth's because it had this nice simple look but the plants somehow made it look....umm....not so empty. |

Unfortunately, after 5 years and over 200 tanks featured in that section, I've finally had to deal with a false submission...the setup that's leading this poll here was submitted by an Irish kid as if it were his tank, but it actually belongs to the Canadian hobbyist Gareth Dominy. I've corrected the credits on that page and the text here in this topic to wipe the kid's dirty name off the site _________________

I THOUGHT that tank looked familiar! I thought perhaps Gareth was using alias or something... _________________

Thanks for all the comments guys. Thats actually an old picture. Here is the most recent image.
The only catch to this tank.. Its no longer running. THe tank sprung a massive leak in a bottom seam and it is currently out of commission. My loach collection has been moved to several of my other tanks in the interim. |

Wow. that's a big improvement. Nice colors from what I can see on the discus. _________________ "... instead of considering what to say when they write, people now just let thoughts drool out onto the screen,"

| Geddes' was my favorite, though I didn't like the sharp end of the driftwood on the right side. I was surprised by the amount of plants Cotter kept with that big Oscar. Made me wonder how long that tank had been set up. |
