I am going to do a DIY Filter for my 6 gallon tank.It has an Aqua Tech Power Filter 5-15 and I want something that will have little current in the tank.I am using a green 20oz 7up bottle since I have a green background.

Some have told me I need a 20 gallon air pump. Will a 10 gallon be enough or do I need the 20 g.

I know this may be bit of a stupid question..Should I run both filters for a few days.I am doing a 1/4 water change even though I did do one tuesday.

A 20 gallon would be better. Have you considered a hamburg matten filter? I've had very good success with them
