hi there I have now managed to get my tank to cycle all the tests show positive pH level ammonia and nitrates are good but I have a small problem? the tank smells of what I don't know I have vacuumed the tank to remove poop and debris I also notice I have a couple of snails could this be why the tank smells ??? could anyone shed any light on the problem any advice is good thank you all

What tests are you using and what are the readings?

A tank should smell a bit greenhousey but never foul. Have you checked there is no food lurking near the rim?
