Hi Guys,

Are T5 HOs still the best choice for our planted tank? Any complete LED system that is good for planted tank? I have been searching in this board and didn't find information on good LED systems.

So T5 HO still the best at this time?

I have some low light plants in my 20G and they don't seem to grow. Some of the leafs stay in yellow. I am thinking to upgrade my lighting and start fertlizing the tank.

I appreciate any input.

I believe that T5's are the best overall light for planted tanks. I actually bought a 36" dual strip t5 ho set up last night for my 46 gallon bow front tank.

What type of substrate do you have? I'm sold on dirted bottoms with a gravel cap. My plants grow like crazy!
