Well that's not exactly a planted tank in the usual sense...it's rather a tank with some plants in it.
Your decoration would benefit from a more natural arrangement of the pieces. As it is, you've got plants in one place, then driftwood in another, then rocks in another.
It seems you haven't figured out yet which way to go with your population: you should either have predators in there like the Oscar, Bichir and Gars, or community fish like the Angels, not both together. I'd go with the latter, considering that the tank isn't big enough for Gars anyway. _________________

I'm in no way an expert but I guess you'd better remove or rearrange the twigs. They may injure your fish some day. Just one tiny sharp notch on a plastic decoration resulted in a dead zebra danio for me. Anyway it's your tank and you know it better.  _________________ Diamond Hill, Hong Kong |
