I'd like to add a few otos to one of my tanks but am uncertain whether or not I have room.

Tank 1:
Size: 26g flat back hex
Filtration: Eheim 2215
Stock:
2 Betta albimarginata
5 checker barbs
5 pork chop rasbora
7 Corydoras panda
4 Corydoras leucomelas

Tank 2:
20g long
Filtration: Aquaclear 50, small Filstar in tank filter
Stock:
4 celestial pearl danios
9 Corydoras habrosus
18 Boraras naevus
1 Boraras merah
2 Boraras maculatus

Both tanks are moderately/heavily planted and receive 50% weekly water changes. Tank 1 has been set up considerably longer than Tank 2, so that would be my first choice.

Not sure about room - they look pretty full.

Also keep in mind Otocinclus cocama gets pretty big compared to other Otocinclus. At least twice the mass of most full grown common Otos, three times the smaller varieties. We're talking around the same size as your average pet store Betta.

Wow, really? That's a bummer. Sad I really should've researched them a bit better. I guess I just assumed they were similar sized.

Not something you'd pick up from reading profiles online exept with a very discerning eye - for some reason most places don't seem to explicitly state that O. cocama get bigger. When I was looking them up (*after* recieving them and going what the heck, they're huge!) I could only find a couple of forum threads commenting on it and a rather inconsistent increase in max SL.
