I recently added two medium sized blue corydoras to my 37 gallon tank (I have been unable to find more at this time). One of them behaves like a regular cory, but the other often behaves strangely. I have 2 Fluval 3Plus submersible filters in my tank (one on each end) with the water output set as low as it goes, but there is still a fairly strong current, especially in the middle of the tank. The one cory enjoys swimming up to midtank, settling in the "river" and then hovering, just moving its fins enough to stay perfectly level and still. It looks like it is flying or something! I have seen it do this quite often. Is this normal behavior? I know they enjoy playing in the bubbles if there is a bubble wall in the tank but I was not aware they are "flying fish"! Pretty cute to see |

Completely normal. Corydoras enjoy a lot of current, including playing in it. _________________ Dumpster Tank
