Hopefully all that will have helped a bit then. No more losses? Are you planning on adding him back once all the other fish and caves have been added and it's all settled down?
Exciting stuff Looking forward to pics of new setup and fish! |

I just found out the two "female haras" I ordered are actually Metriaclima pulpican. *sigh* At least one is male, and I'm not sure about the other one yet. He/she hasn't colored up yet, but that doesn't mean he/she won't.
If I keep the pulpican, I can't add the Hara back because they're too similar. I also don't have a source for more pulpican females... and they're very drab when compared to hara females.
I'm thinking of leaving the Hara male in his own tank regardless, since I'm having difficulty securing females for him. I will either try to stock the pulpican instead, or rehome the pulpican and go with something else entirely. _________________ Dumpster Tank

Oh that sucks. Did you tell the people you got them from? (refund!)
What tank is the Hara male in at the moment?
From what you're saying, I'd go with something new - something a little easier to get your hands on maybe... |

The hara is in a 29g... I'll get pics of that tank, too.
The seller was the one who actually let me know the misidentified the fish, I emailed them regarding the issue I'm now facing so we'll see what they have to say. Their customer service has been great so far, though. _________________ Dumpster Tank
