Hi All,

I've been breeding Platinum Blue angelfish lately and I noticed an interesting variation. One pair of unrelated fish (Pearlscale female and regular male) produced and offspring consisting of pearlscales, regulars, and third variety whose scales look smooth but have few shiny sparkles. Check them out here:

I wonder if anyone has seen it before. If this variation had not been described before, I would like to call it Stardust Platinum Blue.
Thanks for looking and thanks for your comments.
Cheers,
Ruslan

The mixed sparkle scales have been around for a while.

I have a koi angel with the same dusting of reflective scales.

It is not yet a variety - wait until you can reliably reproduce it.
