added a wild caught juvie flagfish yesterday, to my community tank , found it dead and finless this evening, last night it seemed to be swimming healthily, it was quite small compared to a male flagfish, and a female molly, also a pair of topminnows, the tank also includes tiny dwarf livebearers, and immature bluefin killis, and has not experienced any violence before, so I suspect my lovely flagfish may have objected to this little guy in his territory, the gallery seems to indicate they have a tendency this way. I guess I'll have to stop collecting till I can get a separate tank for juveniles. I am disappointed that there is a murderer in my tank, evidence suggests my favorite, but in my heart I suspect that fat grumpy molly! _________________ don clark |
