|
|
I just setup a new 20g high and it's going alone nicely, except my 3 Panda Corys that I added after 8 days of cycling, aren't eating :/ I've tried feeing them algae pellets, and these other pellets with krill and other stuff in them but they just won't eat.
Any advice is greatly appreciated
Thanks

What are the parameters of your tank water? It seems likely that the cycle had not completed, what did you use to cycle the tank?
I suggest reading this article here -
http://www.aquahobby.com/articles/e_ciclo.php
And then this one -
http://www.aquahobby.com/articles/e_fishless.php
If there are snails in the tank the Cories may be eating those, but first of all I would check and make sure that the water conditions are not the issue. _________________ Please, oh Please can someone help me!?

Unfortunately, 8 days of cycling is not enough, unless you were able to add media from an established tank.
Corydoras are extremely sensitive, and likely will not survive the cycling process. Is there someone with a tank that's been running for awhile that you can get some "filter junk" and put in your own filter? _________________ Dumpster Tank

Test your water and find out exactly where you are at. I've had pandas
for years and for some reason mine always went nuts for frozen tubifex
worms. Of course brine shrip and blood worms would always be welcomed.
Hikari sinking carnivore pelets are also favorites.
How did you cycle your tank ? |
