Sorry but it doesn't look good. That looks like a tumour or a viral growth. How many of these fish do you have & how many are showing these marks?

I have 200 and about 30 got marks others fine and nothing has spread for over week is there no cure?

arethey in pain or discomfort will it spreadto others?is this caused bybad breeding?

it could be an extreme ammonia burn in which case they might recover but are these working fish?

Which test kits do you have?

hi sorry it took so long to get back.yes there working fish but they are very happy and we take very good care of them they are very closely monitored we use 2 types of test we use the pH 6 in 1 test strips on a daily bacis and the tablet test aswell .they had the week of last week so we could try and get on top of this condition had another local fish expert come out and they said how happy and healthy they all seemed and have taken pics to try to help.I'm going in to see them later,but am open to any advise as we have had these fish from babies and try our best to treat them well

What is the tablet test? Strips are not accurate.
What are the readings.

You need to be checking for ammonia. I suspect you are seeing ammonia burns.

For now try daily 20% water changes - use dechlorinator for the new water -Aqua plus or Haloex are good.
Keeping fish is about water quality.

What food are you giving them?
