my tank
65litre
1 betta
2 flying fox
6 glowlight tetras
1 rosy barb
1 rio tetra
2 guppy
2 live plants
various caves etc

I have recently changed tanks to the 65 ltr and all my fish were doing fine but I had bought the 5 guppies a week beforehand and now 3 are dead all tests show water is stable 0 ammonia 0 no2 10 no3 pH around 7 soft water. is this just due to moving too soon after purchase. also my barb now has only one eye which would be the likely suspect and should I keep the barb in tank?

Which Rio tetra & why only one?

Two flying foxes are not going to work in that size tank -actually it is too small for one so they need rehoming.
These or the tetra could have nipped the barb or it may have bashed itself.

The barb should be OK with one eye -I have a one eyed Y sidthimunki who I bought at a fish club auction seven years ago - Nelson only had one eye then.

its a von rio and I have only one at the moment as it was given to me to rescue it from my friends angel fish which had eaten its companions I am planning to get more when I'm certain my tank is stable.

I've had my foxes for about a year in a much smaller tank and they are perfectly happy. one is about 3" and second just a little smaller, no problems with other fish even when they were in smaller tank

oooops I have done some research and it turns out that the rio is actually a cherry barb (so much for trusting friends lol)
