Have had these two Florida flag fish in my lil community ten for about three months .They are a male and female. And where together as a couple when I purchased them .

They get along great with my three sword tails one male golden wonder killi and kuhli loch .Recently the male flag has chosen to isolate himself in a little rock house I have in my tank .

Why is he doing this ? The female if she was looking for a place to nest I would understand.

He comes out to feed and appears very healthy .Hes very colorful and active most of the time .doesn't appeare sick or anything ...

He just sits in there and doesn't move much most of the day ....

What is he doing meditation ?
