Oh yeah, my friend got one of those GLO T5 strips. I'm in Australia, so I'm not planning on ordering from the US, but they have some of the same ones here (I.e. GLO), so I will see what is available and affordable that is similar to those ones you suggested. _________________ Pretty as a pictus! |

Whatever you do, don't get a Glo with two bulbs inside - that will bring you straight into CO2-required territory. You might be able to get away with 2 T5HO bulbs with the Aquathrive units as they have very poor reflectors and sit higher above the tank so effectively put out less light, but not with the Glo units which sit right ontop of the tank and have nice shiny reflectors. _________________ Fishing in the Rivers of Light |

Haha, OK. I did notice that the GLO units can be elevated to several different heights with the included feet, though, and can also be hung from the ceiling (not that my landlord would probably allow that). But if I do decide to do CO2, maybe I WILL go with that  _________________ Pretty as a pictus! |
