LR lighting?

I wanted to do a FOWLR set up in my 55 gal. but my question I do you need a good high end lighting system for live rock?

If you only want to keep the tank FOWLR, then just average light is fine. Should still see Coralline Algae growing even with relatively lower lighting.

Live-rock per-say does not require light to continue its biological action.

But naturally if you have say, some uncured live-rock with small bits of coral stuck to it, then you will not be able to sustain the life forms on the rock without meeting their appropriate needs, lighting ect.
