I set up my 4ft aquarium 2 weeks ago and populate it with 15 gold fishes. They are in good conditions until a few days ago the top of the aquarium is filled with mosquitoes and all of the sudden 9 of my gold fishes die.

Can some one help me and guide me through ways to get rid of the mosquitoes?

Hope the the information I provide is enough.

TQ..

The mosquitos did not cause the goldfish to die and in fact are a natural food of many fish.
The goldfish died through poisoning by their own wastes -ammonia & nitrite -as the tank was not properly prepared for them.

Please read this which explains the nitrogen cycle or what happens when you start up a new tank.
