Buster is carrying eggs/pregnant and is exhibiting strange behaviour. She is hanging around the filter and the surface as if she has no oxygen.... 1 of the males chases her when she is not doing this and seems to be targeting the area where she excretes from and (I presume) her spawn will come from. I'm a little worried for her and also excited to see some fry, what is their gestation period and behaviour pattern? _________________ 50 ltr freshwater, 28c, pH 8.1.

I changed 30% of the water today and do this once a fortnight, cleaning the filter every week. _________________ 50 ltr freshwater, 28c, pH 8.1.

I clean it once a week by scrubbing it in water from the tank. Unfortunately my "pregnant" fish died that day so we start again..... _________________ 50 ltr freshwater, 28c, pH 8.1.
