Hi friends!
I want to present to you my mature re-scaped 112 litres aquarium;



112 litres
2x18 watt T-8t's (10000K and 7500K) + reflectors
TetraTec EX700 external filter (very silent, Zeolite, AC)
No heater
0,4-0,8mm sand
Rocks (Petrified Wood)
Plants: Hygrophila sp."Rosanervig", Cryptocoryne undulatus "green", several Echinodorus sp., Hygrophila siamensis, Anubias nana
Fertilizer: Easy Carbo 5ml every day, Pro Fito 10ml once a week
Fish: 20 x Vietnamese Cardinalfish (Tanichthys micagemmae), 20 x Boraras maculatus, 1 x Parotocinclus jumbo
Crustacians: 5 x Atya gabonensis, 10 x Caridina multidentata, 8 x Caridina propinqua, 6 Neocaridina denticulata (Red Cherry), 6 x Atyoida pilipes, several Clithon sp. snails.

Wow! beautiful tank Dusko! I don't know how you do it! hehehe. I've tried those hygrophilas, even in my high light tank and they lose all the lower leaves and don't grow. Only H.difformis do well in there.

Additionally I see you only have 36 watts of light! I have that in a 22 gallon aquarium, which has a substrate of clay...and I can

The sand is from sweden called radasand not sure whats it made of but is for aquarium use. It is 0.4mm-0.8mm.

This is a fantastic example of simple beauty. You've created a scene I could sit and watch for hours, I'm a jealous man Dusko Smile .

I see you have no heater in the tank, and you live in Sweden? Surely then you must rely heavily on your central heating?

I lived in Dublin for approx 5 years and the apartments were always cold in the winter (very likely similar to england). Here in Sweden the heating is included in the monthly rent and it is roasting so much I have to open the balcony door to cool down a bit. Still I do have a heater in my 180 litres set on 22'C just in case the room temp goes under it.
