This is considered DIY because you are removing parts and modding. So..There are vast problems with the desgins of the OTC regulators from crappy valves to crappy solenoid. The most important factor when using pressurized Co2 to grow plants is precision. Miluwkees check valve is terrible when it comes to precision. I would go out on the limb to also say almost 95% of the regulators that are under 150.00 has pretty crappy parts. So I am here to provide some links from those people that took regulators to the next step, what you get is a BETTER, more quality product than what you originally had making it much more valueable down the road if you decide to part with it.

Most planted folks are going to dual stage regulators for PECISION. I hope these links help you.

Excellent links! I posted an article over on several forums as well, detailing how to build a CO2 regulator etc.

Unfortunately, I did not post it here because I figured there would be insufficient interest for it Sad
