I just started my first 29 gallon planted tank with a Coralife Aqualite with a 6700k and colormax lamp. The colormax lamp is a little dim for my liking. Coiuld I replace it with another 6700K or a 10000k?

Absolutely; you can replace the bulb to one of your liking.
