Depends on the size and weight of that rock.
Like a small 1 pound rock, or a big 30 lb. rock?
In my experience, yes it can be done; but you have to use common sense and discretion. Carefully placed rocks can be leaned against the glass, but I do not like to see too much weight against the side glass. Glass can be scratched, it is also possible for poorly stacked rocks to tumble and crack the glass, with disastrous results. Some hobbyists resort to using zip ties, or "pegging" the rocks with acrylic rods, in order to create safe and stable structures for their reefs. Your research will lead to success.

You wanted to lean a rock that is ontop of another rock against the glass?

Definately depends on the size of the rock and the size of the tank. Anything 75 and up and you can lean some stuff against that heavier glass. In a 20H or similar with that thin 1/4 inch I would be much more careful.
150 Gallon (567.811768 liters) community tank, 50 Gallon African Tank, 7 reef tanks, 6 FOLR, 28 freshwater tanks
