I'm just wondering becouse right know they are a little over a 1/2 inch I found them on sept 25 that's a Saturday... and took them away from dad on Monday sept 27.....I really would like to know how long for them to grow up....or become mature...
I just want to know how long before I can start to sell them ..... I was thinking about 2 month or maybe 3 I am hopeing to get them to 2"inches soon. isn't that the perfect size? they are over a 1/2 inch and they are not even a month old I think they will be a month on Oct 4.......
plus all I want to know is how long before I can tell wich is male and wich is female I know the one with bristles are male but how long before they get there bristles in??? _________________ Mr Torres
Best to sell at 1 1/2 inches to 2 inches, It can take 4 to 6 months depending on the conditions they are being raised in. Plenty of room and water changes and good food will help them grow faster and healthier. _________________ 47 tanks and still adding!

thank you..... and I have been feeding them cucumbers, zuquini, green beans thinking about spinach I also have algie waffer but I haven't been giving them any at least not yet....they are the Hikari brand... the water is clean since they don't dirty much but ill probably start doing parcial water change every end of the week. I don't know if that sound good so let me know... please.... _________________ Mr Torres
Depending on the size of tank, if its 20 gal or more I would do twice a week. If the tank is smaller you need to do water changes 3 or 4 times a week.
Sounds like a good diet that you have them on. I would still give them a wafer once a week also. _________________ 47 tanks and still adding!
