Just got done looking at planaria, my substrate, and aquarium water under a microscope. I suggest you guys do the same as it is really cool. However I am wondering why didn't anyone tell me how many disgusting little worms and microscopic animals we have in our tanks? Best "zoom" is 10x I found, 4x is not quite there and the next one on my scope is 40x and couldn't get it to focus, although I am sure it would look even cooler if I got it.

No chance you're able to take microscope pictures, is there? I don't own a microscope and will probably never get to see the REALLY tiny creatures in my tank... though I'm sure its interesting!

Possibly, I got a teacher friend who has one, I could see if I can borrow it.

Usually theres at least another 10x in the eye piece lenses on microscopes so it's probably 100x and 400x. Looking forward to those pictures Caton.

I've been meaning to do that... and I think I have one that hooks to the computer! If I can find it and it works I will put up lots of pics!
