The first link is an undefined fire in B.C. May be a combination of a few.

The second link is of a fire about 70kms southwest of Prince George (my home)

This last link is the website for B.C. wildfires. I have linked it to the Pelican Complex fire. It has surpassed 21,000 hectares with huge evacuation orders. We frequent this area for camping and offroading. If we can go in there next year, I will definetly be taking photos and comparing them to years gone by.

Sad That's scary stuff, Katie! Stay safe!

If they're so close that you're getting ash in your house... can you even stand to breath through all the smoke? >_<

The smoke is pretty bad. Air quality rating is a 7 (high) and its a little less terrible at my house (higher elevation) but there's not much relief no matter where you go.
I have asthma so it's a little harder... can't do much when its this thick.

I am just thankful I am not in William's Lake (south of here) where the fire is right accross the Fraser River from them... 10kms away. Terrifying. Williams Lake is not a small community.
