I'd be willing to bet that the seller had a group of clown loaches but now there is only one left, which was one of the reasons they are selling it.

That would be a sucker's bet. CL's are probably the most misunderstood, readily available, popular species in the entire hobby. In fact, I'd give you 100 to 1 odds that the person in question only purchased one.

I've helped people with Clowns in 20 gallons  But we also help a guy with 30+ clowns in a 150 gallon. It. Looks. AMAZING.
