well here is the tank. just set it up today so bare with me Very Happy

tank specs
46 gallon bowfront
probably 40 gallons of water
30-40 pounds of live sand
10 pounds of live rock
30 inch T-5 normal output
some type of skimmer will be upgrading though
2 700 gph powerheads

will be making a sump in the near feature. just have to fit it in the tennie tiny stand


my stock list will consist of
fish
2 regular clowns
2 yellow clown gobbies
1 yellow watchmen goby paired with pistol shrimp
some kind of wrasse havent decided yet (any opinions recommendations?
and so far thats it
inverts
pistol shrimp
some cleaner shrimp
small anemone (distant future)
small clam (distant future)

corals
well some of my live rock had some mushroom corals (I don't know how well these will last with the cycle

I will be upgrading my lights to a 36inch T-5 HO 4 bulb when I have the money

lion fish are pretty awesome. I kinda wanted a dwarf but I like community sooooo. maybe some day Very Happy

tank cleared up a lot today. hoping to let the salinity stable within the next day or 2 days. heres the tank now

You are supposed to get the salinity stable before adding live sand and live rock. Rolling Eyes

I would also reconsider that planned wrasse, they are typically invert killers.

And no offensense but a lionfish would be a big no-no, as this is your first SW tank and on the list a Marine speices NOT for beginners it states lionfish would not be a good one. I am a fan of them...just look at my avatar.
