Sooo, one of my zebra danios has a large large belly.. I realize the bellies get big when they are full.. but this belly is BIG.
It seems to be defending a rock - more like a crevace the rock and the tank wall have created. Anybody who swims near this spot gets chased away. I have never seen a danio so interested in anything, especially at the bottom of the tank.

Babies perhaps? Any suggestions?
Let the current take you where you may not always want to go.

From my brief reading on the subject... big bellies are definitely indicating eggs, but it doesn't look like danios are prone to protect the eggs once laid. They'll lay them all over the bottom of the tank and leave them there to fend for themselves. So maybe she's just fond of the rock Wink
