I have double dosed excel in my shrimp tank with no ill effect, I know darkblade was spot dosing it and had 10 shrimp die (see here), but he said that is because it is so hard to dose it in a nano tank. I think you will be fine, just keep up with the water change's. _________________

I have heard this also. I have also heard that Excel is not bad in normal dosage. There is also debate as to whether injecting CO2 also is bad for shrimps. Everyone does something different and as long as your shrimp are happy, it's okay! |

| Yeah, I have 7 celestial pearl danios and 2 ottos in there as well. The shrimp are far more entertaining. Right now the tank is full of baby cherry shrimp. I am hoping that the CRS will soon be big enough to start breeding! |

10 Gallon update!
The plants are growing in like crazy... I feel like there may be too many, but the shrimps like and so do the danios! |

Very cool tank, is that a SS or a SSS shrimp? I can never really grade shrimp, but its nice! _________________

At most I only have SS shrimps. I only have 4 of those. The rest of mine are mostly S or A.
Thanks for the compliments you guys! I feel like I am starting to collect too many plants Just a few days before that picture I pulled out tons of moss and blyxa! |
